If you don’t have time to go to the gym, the gym can come to you!
Wintringham is fast establishing a thriving, connected community with wellbeing at its core. In advance of a gym being delivered as part of the community facilities planned for future District Centre, a mobile gym has been launched at Wintringham.
Urban&Civic has teamed up with Fitness Rush Mobile to bring residents a community-focused fitness solution in their fully equipped, state-of-the-art fitness facility. The experienced team of qualified trainers use the onboard exercise machines, weights and other fitness equipment to create bespoke programmes to help residents of all fitness levels and mobility to reach their goals.
The mobile gym will be at Wintringham from 5-8pm on Wednesdays and from 9am-midday on Saturdays. Sessions are 45minutes and include one-to-one personal training, joint personal training and group fitness sessions.
Urban&Civic is subsidising the mobile gym to support the community’s health and wellbeing, and Fitness Rush Mobile is running a pilot throughout February, with the first session free and all subsequent sessions charged at £5 per person throughout the month. There will be opportunities to expand the service in the future as more people sign up.
Liam Rushmer, Founder of Fitness Rush Mobile, said: “We are excited to be providing private fitness sessions to Wintringham residents and are proud to be a part of such an amazing community. Everyone can benefit from improved physical and mental wellbeing, and the mobile gym is a way to increase your fitness whilst enjoying a friendly atmosphere in the great outdoors. We can’t wait to see you all!”
