The Club has already sparked great interest in the local community, with many residents choosing to join early and secure their membership. As the opening date draws near, there is still time to become a member.
Matt Borer, General Manager at David Lloyd St Neots, said: “We’re excited to see such a huge interest in the new St Neots Club, with memberships being snapped up months in advance before opening day. The response to our introductory membership offers has been overwhelming, showing just how much enthusiasm there is for the new Club in this area.
“With limited memberships available, I encourage anyone thinking about joining to secure their place or book a tour with the team in the Marketing Suite. Our first founding members will also have a chance to enjoy an exclusive first look around the Club before we officially open our doors.”

Since joining as General Manager, Matt Borer has been busy building local relationships, spending time meeting businesses and community organisations to ensure David Lloyd in St Neots becomes a valued part of the town. From attending the recent Big Listen networking event, to connecting with local schools and sports clubs, Matt has been demonstrating the Club’s commitment to the community and laying the foundations for lasting partnerships. David Lloyd St Neots is also proud to sponsor the town’s Charity Dragon Boat Race, where a 15-strong David Lloyd Clubs team will be taking to the water alongside competitors in one of the area’s most popular fundraising occasions.
Recruitment is also underway at David Lloyd St Neots, with the new Club creating 75 jobs in a range of roles – from to fitness and spa to hospitality and business admin. To find out more and apply, visit www.davidlloyd.co.uk/careers/.
To further support the local community, Matt has been working with local youth organisation Inspire 2 Ignite to provide meaningful work placements, practical skills and job roles to under 25s who are not in education, employment or training.

David Lloyd St Neots will feature a comprehensive range of premium health, fitness and wellness facilities including a cutting-edge 100+ station gym, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and racquet sports facilities including premium cushioned acrylic tennis courts and padel facilities. It will also offer a luxurious Spa Retreat with a swim in-out hydrotherapy pool, heated relaxation beds, tranquil Spa Garden, and a range of experience rooms including a Himalayan salt sauna, crystal steam and cold plunge pool.
In addition to the health, fitness, and wellness amenities, David Lloyd St Neots will have an outdoor terrace and spacious Clubroom with family zone, indoor soft play for children, and an enclosed Business Lounge for an alternative ‘work from home’ environment.
Paul Murfin, Communications and Partnerships Manager for Wintringham master developer Urban&Civic, said: “The Hub at Wintringham will provide the main centre for shops, services and local amenities within Wintringham and we’re delighted that David Lloyd St Neots will be opening soon. This time next year, the buildings for the new M&S Food, shops, offices and café/eatery will be nearing completion and plans should have been finalised for the new community buildings that will form the final components of The Hub at Wintringham.”
