Stonebond Properties has been unveiled as the next housebuilder to join the 2,800 mixed use development of Wintringham, St Neots. Stonebond will be bringing forward 127 new homes, set within an attractively landscaped setting.
The homes will be a mix of 2-5 bedroom flats and houses and exacting detail that are a core part of the family firm’s commitment to its customers, its local communities and the environment around them.
Joe Dawson, Senior Development Manager at Urban&Civic, said: “We are delighted to continue the strong relationship between Urban&Civic and Stonebond in Cambridgeshire as Stonebond join the Wintringham family of high-quality house builders.
“We have been impressed with the team’s bespoke designs and their commitment to sustainability, community and enduring quality to Wintringham.”
Andrew Cornelius, Group Chief Executive Officer at Stonebond Properties, said: “We’re very pleased to join Urban&Civic at Wintringham, which is quickly becoming a thriving new community and a significant destination in its own right. Our team in St Albans has been working hard to secure the right land opportunities and Wintringham ticks so many boxes: a fantastic location with excellent transport links, major green space provision, high quality design standards and a fantastic partner in Urban&Civic.
“We’re always looking to develop long term partnerships and we’re pleased that this latest opportunity at Wintringham marks the second time we’re working with Urban&Civic, with strong progress having been made towards starting on site a few miles east at Waterbeach.”
Stonebond will develop designs and submit a detailed planning application in the coming months, with the aim of starting work on site early next year.
