Organised by master developer Urban&Civic in partnership with Off The Beaten Truck, the event boasted a delicious array of flavours to tempt the tastebuds.   From wood-fired pizza, gourmet burgers, sourdough flatbreads and fresh salads to churros, cakes and ice cream, there was something for everyone to enjoy. There was also a mobile bar serving refreshing drinks to accompany the feast.

Deck chairs were arranged around the Plaza, and many families brought their own picnic blankets, creating a relaxed setting for a chilled-out evening. A local DJ added to the atmosphere, playing a summer soundtrack to provide a festival vibe.

Christine Littlewood, Community Development Lead for Wintringham, said: “We had a fantastic turnout, and it was great to see the community coming together to enjoy an amazing summer evening with fantastic food and drink.  The sun shone and we saw neighbours meeting for the first time, old friends reconnecting and new friendships being formed.”

Food trucks at the event included Pizza Mondo, Steak & Honour, Nomadough, Churros Bar and Hemingford Bakes, with Axle and Hop providing the mobile bar.
